Prince Harry had been tipped to mention his wife, Meghan Markle, in his five-minute speech at the closing ceremony – but instead the sole focus was on veteran participants.
It was speculated that the Duke of Sussex would would pay an emotional tribute to his wife.
She said: “He is very likely to acknowledge Meghan, especially as she is by his side. However, the focus of his speech will remain on celebrating the achievements and resilience of the athletes.
“Considering Prince Harry’s enthusiastic and passionate engagement throughout the games, it is very possible that his spirited nature will shine through in his closing speech.”

She added: “Emotions may run high as he shares his experiences and encounters with the athletes, but he will likely maintain a composed and inspiring tone, highlighting the transformative power of the Invictus Games.
But the Duke did not mention the Duchess of Sussex in his speech, instead paying his respects to the veterans taking part in the games.
Speaking this evening, he said: “As you have seen and experienced, this week is so much more than a sporting event. It is a platform for positive change. We hope you too are feeling it deeply. I am sure, you’re all physically exhausted, but I also hope you are mentally stronger than when you arrived.”
Meghan Markle was seen applauding her husband as she stood in the audience beaming during his speech.
Harry added: “We may have provided the platform but you provided the magic. We’ve all witnessed the true impact sport has had on your recovery and on your post traumatic growth, but you will never truly know the impact that your ac tions this week have had on millions of people around the world.
“You have opened people’s hearts through your vulnerability, through your resilience and through your sheer abilities.
“My hope is that every memory made brings a smle to your face through a sense of belonging and an opportunity for you and your family to look forward with pride and purpose.”
