The two young cousins, aged 12 and nine, were at Gatcombe Park for a royal day out filled with fun activities such as trampolining.
Royal cousins Mia Tindall and Savannah Phillips were spotted happily enjoying a girls’ day out at the Festival of British Eventing at Gatcombe Park, the residence of their grandmother Princess Anne.
The girls were also joined by Mia’s younger sister Lena, their mother Zara Tindall and Savannah’s little sister Isla, however their male relatives were seemingly otherwise engaged as neither Mike Tindall and Peter Phillips, nor Zara and Mike’s son Lucas were in attendance.
Mia and Savannah were dressed in matching official navy T-shirts and wellington boots to help weather the muddy conditions.
The annual event is now in it 28th year and offers a wide range of fun activities such as trampolining, which both of the girls delightedly took part in.
Mia, who has sport in her blood thanks to her mother’s equestrian career and her father playing rugby for England, even turned herself upside down as she jumped around on the trampoline.
The two-day long event encompasses some of the Royal Family’s favourite horsing activities , including dressage, show jumping and different cross-country phases.
Zara was also pictured on the opening day of the event on horseback, having won a silver medal at the 2012 London Olymics for equestrian eventing.
Princess Anne’s daughter previously told People Magazine about how Savannah and Isla had caught the riding bug, saying “both my nieces ride, and they’re really into it at the moment”.
Mia and Savannah appear to have a close bond, as last year they danced along to ABBA at the Platinum Jubilee Pageant in June 2022.
Neither of the girls’s parents are working royals and they also do not have royal titles, yet as family members they are invited to official events such as the Platinum Jubilee and the Coronation.
All of the girls could also been enjoying the music at the Coronation Concert earlier this year, as Take That, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie entertained the crowds.
One person who was not present at the concert was Prince Harry, who flew straight back to Los Angeles as soon as the Coronation ceremony wrapped on May 6.
The Festival on Friday coincidentally fell on the same day as Meghan Markle’s 42nd birthday, with the couple enjoying a night out for dinner at celebrity favourite Italian restaurant Tre Lune in Montecito.
However according to a body language expert there appeared to be some signs of tension between Harry and Meghan during their outing.
