Princess Charlotte is estimated to be worth £1 billion more for the British economy than her brother Prince George, making her set to become the richest young royal.
Princess Charlotte is set to extremely wealthy as she grows older thanks to her mother Princess Kate.
The Princess of Wales is known to be a worldwide fashion icon, and it is often dubbed the “Kate Effect” when the clothes she wears sell out instantly in retail stores as soon as she wears them out in public.
A similar style phenomenon occurred with Princess Diana as well, but it is also thought that the “Diana Effect” helped raise awareness among the British public about mental health as well as other social issues.
However, it appears that Charlotte is set to follow in her family’s trendy footsteps as a study reported by Electric Rides on Cars has revealed which famous children have the biggest influence and fortunate in 2023,
It has been estimated that Charlotte may have a bigger impact on the British economy than her brothers Prince George and Prince Louis as it is estimated that the young royal is worth £3.6 billion.
The research explained: “Princess Charlotte of Cambridge takes the top spot with a huge net worth of £3.6 billion ($4.4 billion).
“Although her net worth has dropped by 12 percent since 2021, she still edges out her older brother Prince George (£2.4 billion), apparently due to the ‘Kate Middleton effect’, where the fashion choices of royals can have a huge impact on trends.”
According to the Telegraph, experts at Brand Finance have also predicted that Charlotte will be worth more than £3 billion to the British economy, the newspaper has also reported that one in five parents in Britain consider Charlotte a “major style icon” for their own children.
In the past, Charlotte’s outfits and accessories have often sold out, such as the pale pink Victorian Beckham sunglasses she wore to Wimbledon earlier this summer.
The Princess was also spotted with a shiny unicorn keyring on her backpack and a unicorn purse while playing polo mallet which have also both become fast-selling accessories
Retailers have also noticed that influence Charlotte has, the children’s shop My1styears experience a 97 percent increase in sales after the Princess was spotted wearing bright pink boots from the brand while on holiday.
A spokesperson for another child clothing retailer Alex and Alexa said: “Demand for items Princess Charlotte wears will surge massively on our site, we saw an increase in customers searching for pale pink cardigans and floral dresses after the first shots of Princess Charlotte were released last year.”
Prince William has also remarked on Charlotte’s love for accessories as well as the colour pink.
While in Liverpool, William was gifted three bags from Liverpool’s Leather Satchel Company for George, Charlotte and Louis, and he commented that the Princess will be delighted once she sees the bright pink leather bag.
He said: “Charlotte will be obsessed with that—I’ll never be able to get it off her.”
