Sarah Ferguson opened up about her fears in an episode of her podcast dedicated to the fear of missing out, or FOMO.

Sarah Ferguson admitted she shares a specific concern over Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie’s children with many other grandmothers.

Fergie is grandmother to Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi’s daughter Sienna, 1, as well as his son from a previous relationship, Christopher, 7 – known as Wolfie.

In an episode of her weekly podcast, the former royal said she is concerned about missing out on special moments with the grandchildren whenever they are visiting their other grandmums.

She joked she was really jealous of the time she spends with the grandchildren and she does not “want to see the pictures” of them spending time with her sons-in-law’s mothers.

But Fergie noted she is also very focused on ensuring she doesn’t monopolise the children’s time as she needs to remember their time should be evenly split with the rest of the family.

Speaking on Tea Talks with the Duchess and Sarah, Fergie said: “I worry for Jack and Edo’s mums, thinking, ‘Oh gosh, they’re always here. Oh no, I must share.”

Her co-host Sarah Thomson, a mum of three grown sons, admitted she had the same concern when she was younger and wanted to ensure the boys spent a balanced time with both sets of grandparents.

Fergie also admitted that her recent cancer diagnosis, and subsequent mastectomy, had kept her from joining her daughters on holiday with their children as she works on recovering.

Since she announced she had cancer, the Duchess of York has maintained she wants to remain positive and this week revealed she has even nicknamed her reconstructed breast.

Fergie praised the nurses and doctors who have been helping her since she first learned of her diagnosis, saying she was “proud” of the “amazing work” they have done.

The Duchess also revealed she is getting her strength back but will likely wait another month before she starts travelling around again.

Only last week she was spotted in public for the first time since her eight-hour operation being driven around Windsor by former husband Prince Andrew.
