The Duke of Sussex has travelled to London from the US for legal proceedings at the High Court.
Prince Harry arrives at the High Court in London
Prince Harry has returned to the UK to attend a high-profile hearing at the Royal Court of Justice as part of his claim against Associated Newspaper (ANL) for misuse of private information. While he is in the country, do you think he should meet with his father King Charles III for peace talks? Vote in our poll.
The Duke of Sussex last returned to the UK, with his wife Meghan Markle, in September to attend a series of events linked to their patronages and organisations close to their hearts. They extended their stay following the death of Queen Elizabeth II and remained for the state funeral on September 19.
The couple has confirmed that they have received an invitation to the Coronation ceremony at Westminster Abbey on May 6 but have not revealed whether they will be in attendance.
Last month it was reported that Harry wants a summit with his father and brother, Prince William, before travelling for the Coronation.
A source told The Mirror: “Harry has been very clear and his position hasn’t wavered – he isn’t going to come if he feels the atmosphere will be as toxic as it was during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and funeral. He’s said he wants to reconcile with his family and it’s their call, but so far nothing has changed.”
However, a source described as a friend of the King told The Daily Beast: “Charles adores Harry and wants him to be there. But he has a Coronation to organise. He simply won’t have the time to organise a special meeting with Harry.”
