Princess Beatrice’s stepson will not go to school in the US due to high levels of gun crime. Christopher Woolf Mapelli Mozzi, better known as ‘Wolfie’, is the son of Beatrice’s husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

The six-year-old’s mum is US-born architect Dara Huang, who was engaged to Edoardo until they broke it off in 2018.

But while little is known about the royal’s stepson, Huang has confirmed he is going to school in the UK rather than in America.

“I’m glad my son doesn’t go to school in the USA,” she said online.

“I can sleep at night knowing he won’t die at his desk tomorrow morning.”

She made the comments after returning back to the US for the festive season while her son remained in the UK and spent Christmas with the Royal Family.

According to gun violence group the Brady Campaign, every day in the US 22 children are shot.

Sharing her fears about America’s tragic shooting epidemic, Huang continued: “Not to get all political here, but I went to a sports store in the US to buy tennis shoes today and couldn’t help but notice this huge gun section – post-Xmas sale.

“So I walked up to the man and said, ‘What do I need to buy a gun home? Do I need a licence?’

“And I said, ‘OK, so no licence needed, medical records, history of felony?’ And he said, ‘Nope. You can keep it in your car or home, as you see fit.’

“Literally anybody can buy the most dangerous weapon known to man.”

Beatrice, 34, is the sister of Eugenie, 32, and daughter of Sarah ‘Fergie’ Ferguson and Prince Andrew, both 63.

Fergie gushed about her daughters in a new Instagram post on Mother’s Day.

She shared a snap of the royals as children, wearing matching headbands, dresses and blazers.

“I’m so proud of my girls and the beautiful women and mothers they have grown up to be,” she said.

“I feel extremely blessed to call them mine. My darlings, you are my sunshine always and forever. #happymothersday”

Beatrice and Edoardo had their 18-month-old daughter Sienna Elizabeth in 2021.

Earlier this month, Fergie also opened up about becoming a grandmother, and described her daughters as “exceptional”.

“Sisi [Sienna] is just mini Beatrice,” she said, “and she gets little pink tutus, cause Beatrice likes to dress her up like Barbie.”
