Kate’s choice of jewellery was a topic of conversation in Roberta Fiorito and Rachel Bowie’s Royally Obsessed podcast.
Rachel Bowie explained: “Obviously, Kate wore Diana’s diamond and sapphire earrings.
“But, more significantly, the Prince of Wales feather pendant brooch.
“This was passed down through many generations – most recently in our lifetimes the Queen Mother had it, ultimately it went to Diana, then back to the Queen in 1997 when Diana passed away.

“Then Charles apparently, according to the Daily Mail, made a big case that Camilla take it on even though she didn’t publicly use the Princess of Wales title but when she became that upon their marriage.
Bowie added: “It has a value of $680,000, (£560,000) wild.”
Kate reportedly began wearing the brooch once she was unveiled as the new Princess of Wales in November 2022.
However, she also decided to wear the brooch without the cabochon drop emerald which is usually attached.

The Queen Alexandra Three Feathers Brooch dates back to 1863 when it was gifted to Princess Alexandra of Denmark when she married the future King Edward VII.
Charles used the Commonwealth Day service to urge the family of nations to “strive together” to achieve a “global common good”.
He told the congregation: “Whether on climate change and biodiversity loss, youth opportunity and education, global health or economic co-operation, the Commonwealth can play an indispensable role in the most pressing issues of our time.
“Ours is an association not just of shared values, but of common purpose and joint action.

“In this we are blessed with the ingenuity and imagination of a third of the world’s population, including one and a half billion people under the age of 30.
“Our shared humanity contains an immensely precious diversity of thought, culture, tradition and experience.
“By listening to each other, we will find so many of the solutions that we seek.”
