Princess Beatrice beams as stepson Wolfie spotted copying his cousin during royal outing

Wolfie made one of his first footsteps in the Royal Family as he greeted fans at Sandringham with his stepmother Beatrice and father Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

Visibly taken by surprise, Beatrice, who is new to the role of royal mother, sent her husband Edoardo to follow little Wolfie and bring him back from the crowds.

Edoardo took the matter into his own hands while Beatrice continued to greet royal fans, as royals greeted dozens of wellwishers outside St Mary Magdalene Church.

Wolfie received a present from a royal fan under the watchful eyes of his father and Mia’s mother, Zara Phillips.

As Wolfie returned from the crowd showing off his gift, the grateful stepmother dashed over to the generous royal fan who had shared the gift to personally thank her.

This was one of Wolfie’s first royal moments as he makes his first footsteps in the world of the Firm. He is the son of 38-year-old Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, an English interior designer who has tried to keep the identity of Wolfie out of the public eye.

Edoardo formally joined the Royal Family with his son Wolfie in July 2020 when he married Princess Beatrice at the Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge, Windsor.

The couple made a sweet mention of Wolfie in the birth announcement of their daughter, noting in a statement that “the couple are looking forward to introducing their daughter to her big brother Christopher Woolf.”

Wolfie made his debut with the Royal Family in 2022, joining his father and stepmother for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Pageant.

The family of four is expected to stay in Britain, with Wolfie being sent to a school in the UK rather than his mother’s native US.

“I’m glad my son doesn’t go to school in the USA,” Dara Huang said. “I can sleep at night knowing he won’t die at his desk tomorrow morning.”

The architect, who was recently featured in Channel 4’s property programme Britain’s Most Expensive Houses, made the comments after returning to the US for Christmas while Wolfie was at the King’s Norfolk retreat with his father and stepmother.

“Not to get all political here, but I went to a sports store in the US to buy tennis shoes today and couldn’t help but notice this huge gun section – post Xmas sale,” Ms Dara said.

She expressed shock when the gun seller told her she could buy one “right now” and either “take it in two days”, or “take a $50 two-hour ‘conceal and carry course” to “bring it home right now”.

About 44,000 people have died of gun crimes in the United States in 2022, according to Gun Violence Archives, a real-time tracker that reports American gun violence incidences.
